I’ve read up to chapter 507 so far.  The book is really enjoyable. The main character is both intelligent and ruthless, and the storyline itself is very interesting.  From what I can see so far the author updates at a good pace. This book is well worth a read. ^^

This is prime example how you do NOT write a good fantasy novel. The story is all over the place. Characters act like a binary code - one second they are admiring mc, then over some non-existant cause they are out to gouge his eyes with a spoon (real people don't act like that, which may be a surprise for author). Mc himself is badly written mary sue. The world is generic and rules are non existant, cause author writes them down ONLY for the mc and any other character to break them in the next paragraph. Oh, also "zoomer language" is not helping. Over all this is worst novel, no, worst piece of media I saw in a LONG time. So am I writing this? Well, you see, this TEXT is somehow 4th place in rating, hence why I picked it up. Turns out, you should never trust in ratings.

Read the entire thing in one go, highly recommended! Surprised to see some exciting and good trial read after a while. World building is amazing in the 20 chapters I've read and MC is smart. Hope this gets picked cause I'm excited what this novel has to offer!

You started the novel in a sequence, the way you design your characters is highly appreciable, keep writing fellow novelist, ...............

the cafe that Jiro works at, and walks inside. "Hello, is Jiro still here?" A young female jogs out from the back, and looks at Asu. "oh konichiwa, Jiro left about a half an hour ago. Why do you ask?" The young male shook his head and thanked her then walked out of the cafe, unlocking his phone, there was still no reply. Asu opened the app he had made to find Jiro's location, which he thought he should have done in the first place, but shrugged it off. When Asu opened the app and showed her location, it looked like she was still fairly close, so Asu took off running in the direction his phone said. The young male looked down at his phone,  then back up to the building in front of him. The building looked like an old abandoned... electronics store? He couldn't really tell what the building was, it didn't look like it ever had a purpose either. Asu called Jiro's phone, and saw it on the ground, illuminating the entire front room. The young male quietly stepped through the broken door, and walked through the building, being wary of his surroundings. Asu froze as he heard talking from the farther side of the building, coming closer to the front by the second. "Shit..." Asu cursed as he grabbed Jiro's phone and looked around, trying to find a place to hide himself from the people quickly approaching. The young male looked up and saw a low hanging beam that he could reach if he tried, so, Asu jumped up and grabbed the beam, then climbed to a higher and less noticeable location in the ceiling of the old building. "Anyone there, dimwits?" Asu heard a deep voice call out to the two men walking through the room. "It doesn't look like it, boss." one of the men called out, still looking around the room with the other. The young male quietly started to walk over to the back, in a crouched position, he made it to the farther end of the building. The young males movements went still as he heard a muffled cry for help, then sped up his movements, being carful not to fall off of the beam he was on. Asu looked into the room to see...Jiro and three other girls. From what Asu could see Jiro was being the most rational by trying to calm the girls down. Asu knew he didn't have much time before the guys came back, so, Asu quietly jumped down off of the beam and on to the ground. The girls were startled by the sudden action ,but nonetheless, we're still quiet. Asu quickly walked over to the girls and opened his pocket knife, cutting the rope that bound their hands together. "We need to find a way out" Asu whispered to the girls as he looked around, then spotted a hole in the roof. Asu looked at Jiro, she nodded at him, understanding what he was thinking. Jiro climbed onto Asu's shoulders and made it through the hole, they did the same with the rest of the girls until it was only Asu left in the room. Jiro held her arms out of the hole, ready to grab his hands. Asu backed up getting ready to sprint to the other side of the room, when the three men came back into the room. "Hey!" the tallest man shouted as he ran toward Asu, then Asu took off toward the other side. The young male jumped up, holding his hands above him, ready to grip Jiro's hands. The tall male almost caught Asu, but missed by a few centimeters as the five of them got off the roof and took off running.
