What a unique twist to the classic tale of cultivation! The protagonist has a few screws loose, but this makes his journey all the more interesting.

As of chapter 14 (newest at this point in time)I am in love with this book! Although I will be sad when this goes premium. I love the idea, especially how the mc is a npc (not really because he is alive but to the players he is an NPC) It is a really nice take on how npcs view the players. I am super sad that only 2 chapters come out a day and not the whole book but their is nothing I can do about it. It is also a lot better than this being a dropped book. If that did happen I would die of book withdrawal. Luckily we don’t need to worry about that as this is a paid book and has over 500 non translated chapters. How much do you think Webnovels translators get paid?

The story is the usual cliche op beast through system story.. The translation is really well done (which is a pretty big suprise considering where we are) but it is corrected from mtl which means the usual, occasional, he/ she mistakesThe story is really unrealistic. They claimed that the world changed 5 years ago and you need 100 soul strength? to become a beast master. So the whole world (only china as usual due to your china superior fetish thingy) changed. They changed the whole school system, university qualifications, researched how to become a beast tamer + conditions, the world view by claiming that the beast tamer is the best job in just 5 years. Bro brexxit almost took longer and that was only one country and they want to change the whole world in just 5 years. The usual 3rd person narrative is also there (it means that a 3rd person, the spectator, always needs to comment on the deeds of the mc which means there will be a lot of faceslapping and pretending to be cool.)Character Design? the usual lazy writing which means none. World Background is too cliche, "gates opened" (black hole in the sky in this case), world changed, new occupation. I can already guess that there will be different worlds with a new level cap, after the mc gets op enough, just to

First of all, this is stupid. Immortal cultivation run on some sort of energy from world. So, you are dead if you are in a void where there is no energy for you to stop. In that regard, martial arts are more reliable that they are breaking your limits not borrowing strength from the world to work around limits. Second, by cultivating, you are absorbing energy of the world, meaning, you are giving yourself to the world for longevity. So, you are just a glorified slave of the world. Sure, in your world, you will be pretty strong but what if you are in another world? You would just be some ordinary guy. Third, you are limiting yourself. You can only advance when heaven allow you to whereas martial artists can break through with enough hard work.

I would recommend giving this novel a read it’s pretty interesting so far. Fl who is very detached, and aloof is transmitted into a villain, in a novel. Really looking forward to her decisions cause she doesn’t seem to be interest in doing anything much, and especially not being a villain?

One of the best books I’ve read it’s world building is good and very fun to read

Disclaimer for those starting this book - Don't expect traditional chinese power fantasy. This book's genre is kind of 'feel good' slice of life with traditional xianxia elements and the speed of cultivation is slow. A welcome respite from the trash we are served. The background of the novel is that the world's spiritual energy is running out so everyone depends on spiritual stones but the power dynamic of the world is such that the well off clans are powerful and they keep on holding on to the power hierarchy. So because of the income inequalities the wandering cultivators stay on the bottom of the hierarchy.This review is valid up to chapter 100, I've not seen much of the evils of human society. The society shown seems very idealistic. The only source of conflict is the stereotypical young master of a clan. But any source of conflict is warded off by the connections built by the main character through his childish innocence.There is one big plot hole which icks me. The protagonist is said to live a second life on Earth and then came back to his home world apparently. But the childish naivety and the childish questions on morality don't make sense to me if he has lived on Earth. There is a dialogue where his instructor says to him to remain low-key and not show off his talents and he treats this dialogue like a major epiphany which just doesn't make sense. So up to chapter 100 it is better if you erase the Earth part from your memory. It will be way better if you treat the protagonist as a native lifeform who is in his childhood and is very naive regarding social customs. Because the transmigration part of the story has not made an impact yet.

Will it have romance??
