i drop this novel before i even got to chapter 10
1 of the worst web novel i ever read before.

what i don't understand is why most reader here say, they don't like the Almighty Video Game Designer is back. but steel they vote for it
people here say 1 thing and doin something else

the story is so-so not exactly a revolutionary novel. ive not found that many good "player to npc" novels, and its fine to pass the time.

i will give credit where its due, so far the action the mc makes are usually fairly logical, i dont sit 50% of the time asking why the mc i dumb.

character interactions arent quite as limited as i first thought eg between him and players, there is various means to make contracts with players given certain conditions etc.

overall the novel is written well enough but it does nothing exceptional so there is really not much to draw in the reader and is generally not worth spending money on

translater has done an excellent job though so god speed to him/her

One of the rare stories where MC reincarnates as a NPC in a game. Story and characters are interesting so far.

Issues with inconsistency. Like:

Paragraph 1: You can only mine iron and copper ores with Mining level 1. Higher tier ores need higher Mining level.

Paragraph 2: You need 5,000 exp to go to Mining lvl 2, but if you get really lucky you can mine a few high level ores and instantly level up.

Author sometimes rewrites the rules for how things work the very next paragraph.

What's it's real name ?

Alright, I'll be honest, I only read 3 chapters. So why the review? Purely for people who wants a short review.

This novel is like 'I am a legendary boss' or 'The legendary mechanic', yes, the mc transmigrated in the game as a mob.

He has something called 'template manager', with the information i have been given in the first three chapters and considering it's name, I guess he can change his appearance, attributes ect. with it. Not sure though.

Btw, small spoiler, he is transmigrated as a bandit goon and players are already in the game (Beta test?). Unlike other novels with 60 chapters ish until the players come.

I have rated the novel 3 stars on story development, character design and world background so don't come say: You didn't read anything, why the low score?

3 stars is just a bare minimum score to rate a novel average, not too low like 1 star or high like 5 star. Though I did rate translation quality and SOU 5 stars because I always do in TRIAL READ.

Our MC transmigrated into the past; However, as a minor boss character ingame. As such, he resolves himself to survive to the end and get revenge.

I am tired of these video game novels coming in. The  good ones gets pushed back at the back or worse never see the light afterwards. It's getting harder to read with anticipation. Same old type getting recycled.

The story is decent. However, I have a big problem with the limitations the AI of the world places on MC. He basically doesn't have any freedom to do whatever he wishes and has to follow the pattern of Bosses dictated by the game. He can't leave his area of influence freely, think about how bosses can't really leave their spawn point. Also, he has this artifact that can let him become any boss but it seems he will end up being in the Bandit evolution line till the end of the book.
