review is heavily bias because i have read others and this cant stand up to those in comparison even though i would rate them 3/4 stars.
this genre is starting to be overdone

Have read through 25 chapters, the novel has a check in system novel but the MC is different, funny and isn’t a generic copy like all the other check in novels. The story seems kind of interesting too. Characters also don’t feel too one dimensional as compared to the other check in novels. Highly recommend everyone to read before giving a one star review.

Well this will probably turn out to be a good novel. But I will drop it since I do not like the MC since he is kinda evil which was portrayed in a funny way to make people laugh. In any case this novel is funny and you can give it try.

the story is quite good actually, just that it weirds me out how it has been set similar to a game or the fact that the sect elders can't verbally pass any Techniques and are looking forward to *unlocking* new maps

These check in novels are everywhere. At least put some spin on it. What if relationship checkmarks / benchmarks = 1 check in? That would allow the author to focus more on story and can be a convient scapgoat when people ask why a certain thing happens. Or if you want to go really meta, have a reincarnation back in time, where they can only “sign in” when a plot point from their memories reoccurs, and it’s stronger the closer to their old memories that point is. The Protag has to balance using their powers while trying to mitigate the butterfly effect. I don’t know. Just looking for something new in the inevitable sign in genre that trial reads has become.

Psycho MC and the characters are as flat as in other check in novels. This is a skip....................................................................

I have never seen an author suck his mc so much, each gesture, each movement, each breath,
the author adds how majestic are mc, how shocking it is, how extraordinary it is, that everything becomes illegible, with each gesture in a fight, the author adds 2/3 paragraphs of sucking from mc, he launches an attack?boom 3 paragraph of sucking from mc, a dodge? boom 3 mc sucking paragraph.
it's just unreadable.

Good novel but the quality of the translation dropped after the 40th chapter.

Really good novel, mc is a bit toxic to say the least, only reason im rating because some idiots are giving it one star just because its a check in novel without reading, you know who you.

Bas translation and generic story makes it harder to continue reading.
