The story is truly terrible, lacking any engaging qualities. The main character is one-dimensional and uninteresting, making reading a chore. Throughout each arc, the protagonist solely focuses on his lover and neglects personal growth or ambitions. There's no development in his character or any meaningful plot progression.
Here's a summary of the story's arcs:
1. Modern setting: A sickly young master (MC) and dominant adoptive uncle (ML), with a significant age gap.
2. Alien intelligence world: A spoiled noble omega (MC) and a ruthless emperor (ML).
3. Ancient realm: A beautiful marquis (MC) and a harsh general (ML), unrelated due to ML's background.
4. Metaphysical modern world: A poor student (MC) and a ghost prison head (ML) from the underworld.
5. Fantasy world: A human saint (MC) and a paladin leader (ML), both from different races.
6. Entertainment industry: An aspiring actor (MC) and a wealthy CEO (ML) in the present day.
7. Cultivation world: A fox demon shifu (MC) and a demon cultivator disciple (ML), both concealing their true identities in a sect.
8. Reality and interstellar: A general (MC) and a mysterious system-bound ML.
Almost every arc features an age difference with the ML being older, and he's portrayed as cold, jealous, and insecure. The MC is portrayed as lazy, with a focus on indulgence, and there's an issue with dubious consent due to ML's possessiveness.
Unfortunately, each arc feels lengthy and uneventful, without offering any significant depth. I've decided to drop this series; it's not worth recommending.
