can someone explain the first chapter with some sort of referenceby that I mean what is it he is seeingIs this a Pokémon fan fictionI stopped at chapter 1 due to it not being clear to myself wtf is going on with his vision

Good novel! I like the way the story unfolds. Some chapters at the beginning I think they need a bit of editing, but in general it is a novel that I am enjoying.  ??????????????????????

I really like that the expectations for this story and the rules and societal norms for this world are explained in detail right from the start so there is no need to be shocked or question why characters behave the way they do. So far I love it and I can’t wait to see if the plot develops the way I expect it to. I don’t know what is meant by world background so I just gave that 5 stars too. ❤️

This is a great start for a very polished work. I am really enjoying the premise and look forward to future chapters.

A crimson light surrounded the dragon called Anhil as his wings became blades of destruction miles long destroying everything in their path. Old Man Golden raised his claws and swiped out creating three golden slashes which smashed into the wing blades shattering both attacks. Anhil was knocked back coughing up purple rotting blood whilst Old Man Golden stood in the air glaring at him with mockery evident in his eyes. "You will die here and your wife and child shall soon join you. This is what you get for breaking the ruler's agreement which has been in effect for over one thousand years."

Amara had met the couple weeks ago when they started applying to adopt Daniel. She had never met a couple more qualified and she believed that Daniel would live a wonderful life after he left. Though she had to admit she would be sad to see him gone, she was comforted by Daniel's future well-being. Seeing Amelia's excitement, she smiled and was about to hand Daniel over when she felt a soft feeling wrapping around one of her fingers. She saw Daniel holding her finger while smiling at her. She bent down to kiss the boy's forehead and let him go. It was these kinds of moments that gave meaning to Amara's life.
