     I looked over her again. I especially looked around her head area so see if she had any animal parts ,such as animal ears, to signify that she was part of the beast men race. I already knew she wasn't a vampire,her body was too petite and she smelled faintly of blood. Vampires were dead and therefore could not release the odor of blood. When I didn't see anything indicating her race I became suspicious of her. It was then that she realized my eyes were opened. As our eyes met we both froze and for a moment I felt my nonexistent heart start beating.
