Does anyone else think the translation is a bit bad I'm having a hard time understanding

The novel stands out positively when not compared to "RI" because the main character isn't inherently evil; rather, his malevolence stems from a desire for revenge. What captivates me is his quest for vengeance, which I find intriguing.

is this going to be an unfinished book or something is wrong with the author??
