He should change the name to the sage of cooking because thats seems to be the main topic of this novel atleast in the first 70 chapter that is. There is too much in this novel that doesnt matter ... Im fine with side stories but every chapter feels like one

Hi, have the following comments and hence dropping it as it is different than what I initially thought. 1. The MC is shown has smart and cautious character, but he is anything but that. In fact many times, he just acts like a madman and then tries to justify the action through some reasoning. Maybe the author intends it to be this way, but this is not my cup of tea. For instance, he goes way back to the capital to save his friend from people with too high cultivation, when he could have intercepted and saved him whilst he was escorted to the capital. And in the end, the friend dies. .2. The MC is shown to be smart, learned and talented with amazing comprehension. But when he wants to unlock a storage ring which is usually through sense/qi/blood, he goes to a competitor and owes him a favour for telling him to use blood to open the ring. 3. The brotherhood of the MC and dog is very forced. Usually the development of such bond between the characters should be smooth and felt by the readers, but here the author just keeps on harping about friendship every other paragraph for many chapters to come.

I really loved reading the novel; even if I think the narrative is a bit too fast-paced for me and writing quality may need a little improvement, I'm not complaining since, in my opinion, it's still worth reading because of its capacity to keep the readers excited for the next event throughout the chapters and the characters chemistry.

After touching the silver orb, the snail being retreated into the shell on its back. The relief then seemed to show the shell cracking and the snail being emerging completely changed! The newly reborn being had a slug-like lower body that connected in a centaur-like fashion to a vaguely humanoid torso with eight tentacle-like arms. Instead of a head and neck, there was a raindrop-shaped appendage fused directly above the eight shoulders. Regular snail denizens could be seen prostrating themselves beneath this new entity.
