"It's not going to happen. Not unless I want to spend the rest of my life in that underground cell. From what I can see, you're the one who has the least to lose." She whimpers, and he withdraws his hands. "Sorry, I know that's your life in there. None of this feels right, does it?"

Love the story so far, especially with a female lead. Hope you can keep the story exciting.

it is good, but my problem with it is that you  Created a race, I know that it is powerful, but it does not make sense that you made them have few people because It is a race, and it should have more members not few, And you made it harder to recruit than other races. It is a territory, and it cannot just have a few people defending it. From what I can see, it doesn't look like this novel will go far. It looks like it would be dropped at one point because the word view has collapsed.
