Love how the simulations are executed. There aren't much awkwardness during each one or when he gets out of the simulations. Everything flows naturally like nothing special happened, which is quite nice. The MC is also smart and doesn't do unnecessary things like face slapping, which is very prevalent in many different novels. Strongly recommended to read this story.

Nice plot. Read something different after a while. The story is developing in a goob way. The characters are described well but the surrounding should be addressed a bit more. This is a good novel overall. So would love to read more.

Shameless Author Review here:I have enjoyed a lot of similar genre stories on this platform and with my background I felt the urge to put my own work out there. I am dedicated to putting out flawless chapters and if you locate any grammatical or spelling errors, please point them out and they will be immediately fixed.I am consistently working on creating a nice balance between chapter updates and will committedly release chapters on the daily. I wish I had put more work into the first chapters and published more than 1,000 words each chapter, I may go back and up their word count without adjusting the actual flow of the chapter. I maintained a minimum of 1k words per chapter up until chapter 30 at which point I raised it to 1500 and will not go below that. The story will continually be developed and follows Marcus and his adventures through a game that has much more going on behind the scenes than he had initially thought. The risks will constantly be increased as the story progresses and the novel becomes more fleshed out. I absolutely love creating characters and having them fill roles within the story. The cast shall be expansive and constantly growing and decreasing. I aim to have no two characters alike and want to have a nice variety in the main and supporting cast. I love adjectives and really enjoy growing the world around our cast and hope that shows through my work. I love world building and generating the setting that our characters are in. I really hope you guys enjoy the story and take the time to like, vote, and comment, I read every comment and am more than happy to reply to your questions. Feel free to join the discord to see more behind the scenes information and connect with fans.

After that the other matches continued at a normal pace. The others with high amounts of magic were winning with a good use of their skills. The most shocking one was Langris, who impressed most captains with his space magic attack power but lost points with some due to how he brutally tried to finish off his opponent for the 'sin of wasting his time', and the others who surprised everyone were Sol, who beat Gordon after a close fight that was definitely the highlight of the competition, and the smiling kid who almost killed his enemy thanks to beating him too much with thunder punches. During this whole thing Shirou kept talking with Mimosa and Noelle about the fights, the two girls were quite excited to see so many mages fighting and so many interesting and unique magics. Even Nozel commented during the fights, asking Shirou questions on how he would deal with different types of opponents that were in the field and he appreciated the answers as the fighting theories on how to approach the situations Shirou proposed were quite decent and realistic with his current skillset. More and more Nozel thought he should add Shirou into his squad as soon as he acquires his grimoire. This thought made his mood great, which of course was spoiled by the fact his useless little brother Solid had to open his mouth to make 'corrections' to Shirou's ideas and proving, again, that intelligence and talent definitely skipped Solid during his birth leaving him with... yeah, he didn't have much to his name at all.
