A kingdom-building novel that's good. This site is seriously lacking on pure kingdom-building novel I've been reading since the beginning of Webnovel and I've only discovered 3 pure kingdom-building novels.

1. The World Online

2. Release that Witch

3. Sword of Dawn

That's the only pure kingdom-building novel I've read in this site hope it will get chosen to make it 4

It's an alright novel, good idea but doesn't really stack up.

My main problems come during chap 29 - 30.

The "village" if you can call it that has the counsel house, bandit hideout, and 5 houses. If you read ANY kingdom-building novel then you understand at the start everyone pulls there weight to help build the foundation.

However, the Author ignores all this and is already trying to build the currency. This is by far the stupidest thing I've seen and has annoyed tf outta me. It's not even the worst part, he pays the military and bandits but then ignores the normal workers, the farmers etc how does this make sense?

Also, he then gives out all the food etc for free without putting a price on them. Doing this, why tf is he paying his people than when there is nothing to buy? You're literally just giving money away to someone who it will hold no value to. Instead of investing it to build up the foundations more and giving them better-living conditions.

Adding onto this he is not treating everyone equally by just paying the military witch will then lead to outrage. He then wonders how he is so fcking broke.

Another thing that is stupid is that the only way he can gain more of the money easily is to trade mystical items to the system which is explained as cornerstones of kingdoms, clans, empires.... No need for me to explain how stupid this is.

Finally, the last straw for me is when he traded his food supply for a tiny bit of money that he shouldn't have even lost in the first place. For a village that was wondering how they will survive for more than 13 days to then trade their food supply for money (which the villagers have), it just doesn't make sense to me... food is essential for tiny villages.

Adding onto this further any situation the mc finds himself in even if he himself from his own stupidity got him there is magically worked out by the system.

Other than these things it was a great novel with an interesting idea. I loved the idea of a magical kingdom in the desert hidden from all. Plus it was interesting what lay further in the desert and the enemies witch lay near. Just couldn't stand the stupidity that I mentioned before.

Very bad story.
Pros :
1. Kingdom building novel.
2. Good translation.
3. Based on Mount and Blade which i like.

Cons:
1. Way to much wordpadding for make chapters bigger. They repeat the same thing like 5 times in one chapter and 3 times in the next just in case reader forgets it.

2. All the villagers in the territory are male and don't have a single name (atleast up to where I read). They seem to have emotions and talk, but for fks sake they might as well not. No names, no personality, only obeying orders.

3. MC got the memory of a goldfish. He worries about problems when the solution was something he got as a reward from a side quest just one day ago. Or maybe it was because the author made the mc forgot so he could add filler text to the novel. Such as all the way the mc COULD HAVE solved the problem if he DIDN'T HAVE the system.

4. There was one whole chapter which was just an essay about date palm trees.

TLDR; Trash novel. Hope it won't get selected.

Why is this out of the trial list. I think this book deserved a shot plus I pay some good coins for the chapters and I would pay more to see it goes 24 chapter a week

Great kingdom building novel, good enemies, good development and because it takes in a fantasy world we don’t have to hear about how china is the best country in the world.

The translation quality is not great but decent!
(Doesn't take away from your reading immersion)
This is a pure army/kingdom building novel.
Don't expect logical plotlines, character development or smart ass plot twists.
If you want to read some pure army expansion, territory conquering and kingdom building novel.
You did be missing a lot if you don't read this one.

P.S: Watered down version, with no significant explanation for cheats, version of The World Online and The Lord's Empire.
Quite original to distinguish itself from the above two novels, so if you have read the above two novels, I am sure you won't be disappointed by this novel.

Webnovel editors? Publish it effing already.
