Lord of Order- Rise of Dawon - Reviews

One of the best original novels on this site... even though there are thing that I like and diskile in this novel, overall, is a good read to me. (SPOILER ALERT)What I like:- very good pacing- very good grammar- smart and calculative mc- ruthless mc- hardworking mc- solus (really usefull companion/ai/equipment)- nana (his 'magic mentor' i really enjoy the interations with the old perky magician lol)- character grow (we can see how the characters grow along with the progress of the novel, even though its more mc focused, but i dont have any problems with that)What I dislike:- the nobles/young masters trope- his older brother, that seems going to be an annoying factor through the novel, or at least will come back and bite him in the a*s...- the 'hidding true strength and look like a scrub' trope... ( well i can understand the hiddind strength part since its logical when you are at the bottom, but so far we have a somewhat ugly mc, i mean every one in his family is somewhat decent and only him and his father seem to be the ugly ones...)(note: he seems to get better looking with each increase of his magic core, but it seems that at best he will be average, which i will be ok with, as long as he doesn't remain ugly lol)Even though the beginning of the novel may seem slow, or somewhat confusing, it works as an introduction to the mc personality, and help us understand him better, so I suggest that u should read at least 10 chaps before diciding if u like it or not, thats what I always do.

Интересная работа, но действия главного героя кажутся слегка поспешными, хотя он пока не сильно вмешивался в канон, поэтому не могу с уверенностью этого сказать. Описание мира хромает, а точнее его практически нет, не говорилось о той же хотя бы как пример, STAR labs. Что "STAR" – это название его секретной лаборатории, всё таки удалось догадаться только в дальнейшем, по действием героя на локации и по следующим упоминаниям. Никакого описания персонажей ни, банально, внешности, ни костюмов, что весьма важно учитывая сюжет сосредоточенный на деятельности героев. Язык повествования не плох, но и чего-то такого уж хорошего я  в нём не заметила. А так сама идея довольно интересна и если будет продолжение, то скорее всего, буду читать

Super bad stuff!  Full of racism and prejudice against other people not chinese.                                                                                       

It's surprising how a single chapter can ruin everything. If you wonder why then check out the "falling off the cliff" chapter. I can't be even bothered to check the chapter number smh

I haven't actually read this, but given that this author has 2 other novels that he didn't bother to finish and didn't even warn his readers if he was just taking a break through the comment section or an additional chapter idk if it is safe to start reading this since he might just drop it out of nowhere without mentioning anything.Aside from that the synopsis looks interesting so I'll probably give it a try anyway. If the author keeps posting chapters without dropping this and the story is good I'll edit my review and score later.

Hey... Like your story... it's a good read... Just think you need to add more details about the world. I start to crave it by the third chapter, and without it I don't really understand the explanations about the 'old monkey'.Even a few sentences in the second chapter about 'this world... is this...'a lot less direct then what I just wrote, but keep going!without the world the details don't mean as much... if I knew where the 'old monkey' was from, even a few words after the word monkey, I would understand where they met, and know more about the story...

When the dress was put on, Sonja was stunned. It was a deep red, off-the-shoulder dress with embroidery along the top, sleeves, and hem of the dress. It wasn't loose-looking like other dresses since the top layer was made of a stiffer fabric than the tulle underneath, giving it neat and smooth creases. A silk ribbon came with it and, when it was tied around the waist, it gave a slight contrast to the outfit, highlighting her tapered waist and long legs. The regulations given weren't that strict, as the most restrictive were that dresses must have long sleeves and cannot be farther up than mid-thigh when sitting. Checking the latter, Sonja found out that if she adjusted the skirt a bit when sitting, then it would just make it as an acceptable dress, which was great for her since she was done getting ready.
