I watched the drama on Netflix and was thoroughly disappointed with the ending, so went in search of the original book. This is a beautiful and well-written translation, and I appreciate the translator’s time and effort in being this novel to life for English readers. To be able to convey the author’s original feeling into a different language is no easy task and I am very impressed with the translation so far. Are you able to tell me how many chapters total? I want to make sure I have enough coins to complete the 3 volumes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Really drew me in, shame that the translation went downhill after the first 40 chapters. I genuinely enjoyed the beginning, but once the slightly edited mtl hit and you constantly had to make an educated guess as to who is currently speaking because the correct and consistent use of pronouns is just too much to expect from a translation you're expected to pay for... It made the reading experience a lot less enjoyable.In short: story = goodtranslation = not worth your money

It starts out, as most Chinese novels do, with a downtrodden, out of luck MC who suddenly receives good fortune in the shape of a wizard's hat shaped Virtual Reality helmet. The good point is that he needs to work to gain skills that can then be applied in real life but... it feels that his power progression is a bit rapid. On the other hand, the story is very well written and the emotional scenes are conveyed terrifically. It will be interesting to see how well the story eventually develops. I must commend the translator for such a good production. The use of language and expression are perfect plus the writing is enrapturing and drawing. On the whole, i recommend reading it for a bit of a Sci-fi / Wuxia twist.

Definitely an amazing read, I'm quite pleased with the pacing so far and the characters are so likeable ?. Great plot, decent pacing (Not too fast, neither is it too slow) and... i need more chapters ?

So far so good But I wish you also to touch on some other Creatures with superpowers like lions also I will update this review in the future for good or bad.?
