I liked the idea of him getting powers from being a gourmand, and the fact that he was old seemed like it could add some spice, but yea nah. This ain't it chief. within the first 10 chapters there's so much inconsistency it ain't worth reading.

Man to be frank ********** was way better than this dumb website "qidian" at least they never forced their readers to unlock chapter by paying 9 spirit stones and if you're broke then our great qidian will force use to buy spirit coins by paying them 10 USD! If this goes on I better stop reading light novel from such a great website and by the way I'm dropping "the strongest system" this novel ain't Worth 10 USD!

The mc is too linear. They made him stingy and that is his only defining trait, after 150 chp he still has no character development, and is just a douche. He doesn’t value any relationship at all and treats his own companions and people in general horribly. 150+ chapters and little story not world development. No idea on the hierarchy structure/world background and nothing on cultivation ranks.

This is one of the few really interesting vr novels out there. The take on the game concept is extremely cool i mean i want this game in real life im not some crazy inventor but the freedom and creativity of the game itself is awesome. HIGHLY HIGHLY! Recommend to read this novel its really good!

A hidden gem. Such an underrated novel that is written so marvelously that I honestly can’t compare it to any cultivation story before this. It cannot be compared. It’s even more amazing to me because it’s absolutely FREE to read.Writing Quality - Amazing. Can’t find any fault at all. The details makes me feel like I’m in the world itself, it explains so much and it doesn’t feel like you’re being thrown into a big information dump and having to figure it out for yourself. Everything is explained simple and actually easy to follow regarding cultivation and the different teachings.Story Development - It’s a slow paced story, hard to find especially when it’s done THIS well. And the slow burn romance works with the story development to a T. It’s definitely my cup of tea but of course if you’re more into the fast paced element packed with action then it’s probably not to your preference. The minimal action we do get is well written too (read up to ch.160 so can’t really say if there is a lot more action after this). Character Design - All the characters have their own personalities, opinions, flaws, talents, and designed perfectly in their role for the story. Leon (MC) is shy, weak, naive, and has a speech impediment. Jin Li (ML) is your Tsundere, arrogant, oblivious, yet undeniably strong young master who does whatever he wants and pulls Leon around. He can be cold and harsh with his words but he isn’t heartless nor is he blinded by his social status to look down on the poor. There are so many more relatable and likable characters (and of course those who are created to be unlikable).World Building - There is SO MUCH to learn and slowly unravels just a bit more as the story progresses. There’s unique beasts and creatures, herbs for many things, and so much more. It’s really amazing how much imagination the author has and to be able to incorporate this in the story is actually the hardest thing to do.TLDR; A slow paced, slowburn romance that is worth the read. Detailed and marvelously written cultivation story on two precious boys falling in love in an unfair world.

The book is worth it, the story has the potential I hope the story won't end soon. looking forward for more chapters, I'll never gonna drop this story and will read it till the end.

The goal here was to capture the Oguls of this party as they had special members in this particular party that had higher ranking leadership roles in the Oguls social hierarchy. It was also due to this higher role that these particular Oguls were more intelligent and could better communicate with the Drions and Cenives so it was with this in mind that they readied their attack for this particular party. Now that they had found this party and it had moved a safe distance from the Oguls hive they proceeded with the plan!
