Love the premise, hate the execution.
The author uses the MC marrying a fox demon as little more than an excuse for the super natural organization to pay attention to him. No lovey dovey newlywed antics. No heartfelt "I know your a Demon fox, but I love you anyways" confession. Not even an explanation for why he can see her tails poking out of the bottom of her dress at the wedding, but nothing about them when they sleep together.
There is almost zero world building at all. This is a modern world where spiritual energy is awakening causing creatures to transform. That's it. The MC and his wife are apparently well of but nothing about what there jobs are. Only off hand mentions of the MC having just finished a big project and a casual "Oh, by the way" revelation that his wife works at a kindergarten in chapter 20 when she tells him he needs to drop her off early today for the field trip.
I really love the idea behind this book, but it needs more focus on the relationship between the MC and his wife to make the readers care about them. The jealous superior at the supernatural organization, who everyone knows is just a two-bit side character villain, gets more screen time than his beloved wife. I really hope it gets better in the future and the author is just trying to draw it out so that the relationship doesn't feel rushed or forced but right now if feels almost non-existent.
