Another video game novel where the mc becomes a ‘npc’ inside the game. My expectations for this ain’t too high, just expect it to be as good as The Legendary Mechanic... Not too high, right...?

overall below average novel. MC got lucky in character creation and is totally OP. there is no some great world background, nor any good character interaction. so far it is full of VR novel cliches and if you take any novel in that category there is more than 50% chance that it will be much better than this one.

also contains racism, so i changed it from 2 stars to 1 star.

This does not have a soul; it’s empty.
It feel like I can’t immerse myself in it.

Couldn’t read beyond the start.

The game just starts and somehow 5 minutes in there’s already a fight between the MC and some top 10 player who bots (imagine not banning botters in Chinese video game lol).

Somehow this guy is level 5 and is far away from his spawn?

Makes absolutely no sense.

This novel was clearly written by someone who has never touched a game in their life and the extent of what he knows of MMOs is what he reads in a LitRPG.

Can’t read a lot of it with out losing brain cells because it’s trash and trash is what Webnovel is becoming right now due to what they are doing to the website. I wish the website is bought someone who restore webnovel.

Feels like any regular bad game novel with all the cliches except the mc is a bit more likable. Filler fijdkekekdkdkdkkdkddkdkdkkdkdkdkdkkdkd

4 stars for translation quality. 1 star for everything else. It’s a half assed power fantasy by an author who most likely has never played a MMORPG.

One major example is a forest full of crows for like parties of lvl 20-30 players. Which fights in swarms of a dozen or more. Author made MC op and says due to him being a god, if he attacks a crow, the other crows won’t react at all. So MC’s 1v1ing a crow, and somehow struggling (even when MC’s stats are multiple times that of similar lvl players), then wins in the end. Author starts bragging about the stats of a single crow. This is a forest, full of crows, who swarm you and attack in groups of 12 or more. Any other player would be one shot.

It might as well be a single player game instead of a VRMMORPG given how all mobs are suddenly magically 10x stronger than players of the same lvl just so they can put up a fight against our very op heavily plot armored MC.

If this VR game is actually connected to reality like other VR novels: 'I Became the Ultimate Boss', then It will be very interesting since that means MC will also become a god in reality (or at least can affect the real world). But if MC's godhood is only in VR then, meh... I am already bored with those pure VR genres where MC only shines inside VR.

I've enjoyed the chapters here, finding the bad reviews suspiciously harsh like they have axes to grind. Many one star reviews are just about having this novel picked over one with a genre they like better, and they clearly didn't elaborate on anything beyond that position.

I found that there are 623 current chapters already translated. The other's quality is worse, but it isn't as bad as MTL.
