You know how you secretly buy/read trashy romance novels as your secret  addiction. You know it's bad, but you keep reading either out of boredom or just because you embarrassingly like it. That's me right now; it's a trash story, but I'm bored.

Trial read was a fun and interesting to read(up to ch 40) Definately recommended
The "villian" is very nice as to even try to have a fair competition with MC

I haven't exactly read it but the rating was pretty bad. Based on the reviews, the story will fall off due to forced plot or something. Also, after like chapter 40, the story revolves around MC going into the entertainment industry. It last until chapter 100+
MC will supposedly "cheat" on FL according to the people who left reviews at the end. System will be less and less relevant to the point it is rarely mentioned later on. Around 3 love interests via the end.

I SKIMMED all the raw just now around 480chapters, Cliche story sigh in novels where he can get rich and omniponent. MC's attitude kinda good compared to other with cheat system, MC is humble and not lustful but he will bared his fangs if someone threatened his loveones. Plot revolves around Entertainment and Business circle, no medical nor cultivation occured, his skills are reasonable (Godly) but not unscientific/supernatural (skills such as acting, writing,singing, directing,cooking, business etc that are the only I have seen on the whole story(i skimmed but I haven't notice those). Lot of face smacking happened but MC didn't initiated them, bunch of braindead Mobs love digging their own grave (generic lustful Youngmaster preying Swans)

Romance
Lot of girls fall in love with MC, but he is dedicated for one girl and rejected them all, but there is a second female lead who's business genius and an artist, she's willing to secretly support the MC and there's even that she's willing to sacrifice her life for MC, truly unrequited and unconditional love. FL likes cosplaying Catgirl and has close relationship with Second FL (sisters) so I think it's reasonable to end up with these 2 Treasured girl. Unlike other harem they build romance slowly MC at the start was unwilling to love other girl other than FL

i know this type of novel doesn't have anything special all they gonna do is add Nationalism or make some cliche things with Chinese medicine but for god's sake be a unique one i will change my rating if it's bad

Honestly just sounds like A Valiant Life by Xin Feng. Synopsis sounds really similar to that direction. Lin Fan better get patented by Xin Feng

Honestly, I tried to like this because I like this genre, but it was so painful to read that almost didn't finish to the end of the trial. It could be improved for sure and has the potential to be a face-slapping, system owning, boss of a story...but not there yet and that makes me sad.

Positive:
1.) Kindergarten level plot that is easy to follow and predictable with no need to use your brain. A good relaxing veg book with zero suspense.
2.) A plot that involves gaining "treasures"....I'm a dragon, so that is a Positive to me.

Negative:
1.) Kindergarten level plot that is too easy to follow and painfully predictable. The argue could be made that there is no plot so far other then the MC gets stuff for free and he needs a girlfriend...not even a why or how he gets the 'system'
2.) Shoves the word "handsome" in every sentence the MC is involved(this book is ABOUT the MC!) and introduces every female with a rating instead of a description...
3.) No big villain intro, or character developing scenes. Not that I mind an OP MC, it's just that I'm also a fan of badboys too:)....a shame

This novel is trash and full of contradictions. Mc says that class reunion is all about bragging. Then, he says that they shouldn't brag and blah blah blah. He love to live a quiet life, but he goes to gatherings where everyone tries to look down on him and insult him.

Also, his personality is trash. His family opened a restaurant for him to live his life easily; however, his cooking skills are trash and he is not really qualified to do this job. Then, he says he doesn't want to be a star because he doesn't want to be in the spot light and he wants to live a quiet life wasting his poor family's money and not paying them back for the effort they put on raising up this trash son.

Also, his eq is forced to be low by the author when ever it is suitable. I mean, who would invite a girl to his 'room' when he doesn't mean anything dirty? He doesn't even have a small room but he has a house. Therefore, he should say "do you like to come to my house?" Not saying come to my room. STUPID!

Furthermore, everytime the author introduce a girl he tries to make it seems as if the girl is not shallow and after money while she is just a shallow ho*.

Not to mention the amount of clichés and forced plot.

Just don't waste your brain cells reading this.

No matter how acceptable MC is, when 90% of the text are praises to MC money and possessions it's really not worth it. It's one thing when Sign In allows MC to be cool, it's entirely another when Sign In is cool and MC is simply attached to it.
