This novel revolves around the experiences and development of the main character and the eventual resolution of the world, as expected. It wasn't terrible, but I found myself skipping paragraphs and drifting off into other thoughts while reading.

While I did finish it and it was acceptable, I doubt I'll revisit it. It seemed to lack something that could have made it more engaging.

The title should really be "I Rely on the ML to Sweep Through Survival Games," lol.

I've made it to chapter 84, and I quickly lost interest.

While the premise is somewhat unique, relying on a quirky skill, it ultimately feels like every other infinite flow novel. As I’m writing this, I realize it’s because the main character (MC) and the machine learning (ML) system are just too overpowered (OP), a very common issue in infinite flow stories.

That’s ironic because, based on the title and summary, you’d expect the MC to struggle a lot due to his poverty. But no, with the ML always coming to his aid (and doing so from the very first instance), you never really feel like their life is in danger.

It’s supposed to be a horror novel, but it doesn’t actually scare you at all, lol.

There wasn’t any point in the story where I felt particularly hooked to keep reading. I was mildly interested when the MC’s father was mentioned, but the slow pacing really discouraged me.

For those interested in the romance aspect, I’ll let you know that even up to chapter 84, there’s not really any romance.

Wow! What can I say? This is actually a fun kind of survival-themed story. By "fun," I mean the main character (MC) is so poor that he can't get any poorer, even in a survival game. He has no home, no car, no savings—basically, he's a ghost of poverty (not literally, of course). The skill he acquires fits his situation perfectly. The comedy is fantastic; I love it. This novel is much more of a relaxing survival game compared to others like 'Kaleidoscope of Death,' which is more serious. That doesn't mean there's no death in this story—there is, but it's something that has already happened. You'll understand when you read it. The flow is great, not boring at all. The story focuses on the MC and the main love interest (ML), with not too many conflicts. I'm really satisfied with the main chapters, except for the extras. The author is so strict! Come on, since it's about how they can meet in another world without a survival game, why not give them a real happy ending?

Shameless MC and Butler-like ML (Sebastian, is that you? Not exactly, but I like it anyway), some scenes are definitely funny, and it doesn’t leave me with a painful, impatient urge to know the answers (thanks, author). There’s always something happening, and the pacing feels just right.

Just don’t read this at night if you’re as easily scared as I am.

Anyway, into the review:

I dunno, mate, it's alright I guess. The instances weren't mind-blowing or utterly boring—just *alright*. The side characters were the usual 2D gang, which is *alright*. The main characters are *alright* too. If the pacing in instances is x0.50, then other times it's x5 speed... *Alright*.

The main character (MC) can be considered smart if you ignore the times when he acts like he's discovered something huge, when you could reach the same conclusion with your toes.

The male lead (ML) is always beside the MC, but his screen time is even less than some cannon fodder in the instances, lmao. Seriously, he has only one line: "Take a look at this, sir." He also occasionally acts chuuni in the dark, makes a lot of money, and so on. Throw in some roasting of his painting skills, and we're pretty much done.

Other than that... The jokes aren't fun for me anymore, don't know about you intellectuals. Well, it's been 100+ chapters, so that's to be expected.

In conclusion, consider giving it a shot, but don't expect an engaging romance since both of them are blockheads. Ignore the legendary pig teammates that exist in both beginner and advanced games... Guess that's it.

P.S.: On a side note, I'm kinda bored with the "mysterious parents" routine I've been seeing in a couple of horror-themed novels, but there's nothing to be done.

I MTL'd the novel because I couldn't wait for the translated chapters, and I was right—one of the best books I've read.

It's funny, engaging, and consistently humorous. You never feel bored, and the plot is refreshingly unique. I loved the book, and while there are a few parts where I'm not entirely satisfied—no book is perfect. But this one comes pretty darn close.

It's a fantastic novel that is both hilarious and captivating.

I liked it but then I didn't around chapter 90

A well-crafted infinite flow story. The world-building is robust. The comedy is pure gold. And while it’s gory, it maintains a shounen-like optimism, which is perfect for a faint-hearted reader like me.

The romance isn’t a slow burn, but it burns gently. While the male lead (ML) may have yandere tendencies, he ultimately shows his love in the gentlest way possible. The dynamics between the main character (MC) and the ML are truly endearing.

The supporting characters are also vibrant and well-developed, adding both humor and a touch of somber realism to the narrative.

Despite a few hasty cover-ups that felt like minor plot holes, it remains a well-written story. I might consider reading more novels by this author.

Great story, I enjoy the dynamic between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML), along with the instances.

I notice that the horror aspect isn't heavy; it leans more towards comedy. So, if you're looking for intense, dark, and terrifying elements, you won't find much here. The strength of both the MC and ML is reassuring, as I enjoy seeing them power through the instances. The fact that the MC doesn't always rely on the ML during these challenges adds a refreshing twist.

The MC is a lighthearted, adaptable, strong, and skilled protagonist. He’s neither an idiot nor a pushover. He’s willing to help others but won’t go out of his way to do so, which I appreciate. The ML is somewhat of a passive yandere, but I still consider him a good guy. He’s sweet but has a butler-like vibe. As for the romance—

Absolute slow burn. The romance starts to develop around Chapter 134. While there are occasional hints (like the MC’s heart rate speeding up or the ML showing obvious interest), this chapter marks when they both start to acknowledge each other as potential romantic interests, rather than it being one-sided (with the ML already harboring feelings for the MC). This gradual build-up is satisfying for me. However, their first technical meeting occurs when the MC is 15 years old, and the ML takes a platonic but peculiar interest in him. This makes me slightly uncomfortable, but it isn’t overly concerning since they don’t meet again after that. It’s just a bit odd, in my opinion.

Recommended for those who enjoy unlimited flow with a comedic undertone and a lighter horror setting. Also, if you’re into a slow-burn, ambiguous romance, this is a great choice.

Ahhh, I love this novel so much ?? The main character is so likable. The male lead is such a loyal and devoted character, but he’s not pushy with his feelings toward the main character; instead, he gradually draws her in. It’s a slow-burning romance, but it’s incredibly sweet!!

I really enjoy how the story unfolds, and the character development is excellent. However, I do have a small complaint. Why isn’t the extra chapter after the ending about what happens next in the story? ? I’m a bit disappointed that the extras, while cute, don’t continue the main narrative.

I feel so much for Qi Ning; he’s my favorite side character ? Can I consider the extra chapter for Qi Ning as a happy ending? ? I just want Qi Ning to have his happy ending too ? Why, author, why? ?

But despite this, and considering my personal love for Qi Ning, overall, this story is amazing. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did ?

I love this story about MC and ML. They perfectly match my ideal horror character requirements—brave and not easily startled. While MC does have some bad luck in one area, he has good fortune in others. I don’t think MC is overpowered, but ML certainly is. However, ML doesn’t flaunt his power much; he seems more like an admin or game master in a video game.
