After thousands of years of silence, spiritual practice once again ushered in the golden age.

Just as the enchanting and Daozi in Zhongzhou are fighting against each other.

In the face of so many evildoers, Zhou Feng has only a skill panel, and this skill panel will only give passive skills.

Binge eating: Whenever you digest food, you can digest food faster and more perfectly, and at the same time you will be hungry faster.

Resilience: Slowly restore 1% of life when getting out of combat.

Sharpening Stone: Every time you experience a battle, all attributes increase by one.

Older and stronger: Every time you increase one year old, your defensive power increases by one.

Armor Piercing Spear: A certain percentage of armor piercing is attached to the attack.

Dao Method Seed: Increase the proficiency of Dao Method by 1%.

…..

Thousands of passive skills are integrated in one body, and cultivation of immortality depends entirely on passiveness.

As long as I go to the end, I will be the strongest!

Only trial read that is interesting to me. Hope the story is picked and that the main character doesn't turn into a hero type.[img=exp][img=coins]

First non-brain dead MC in a trial read in quite some time. Interesting spin on the passive skill system trope. I like that the setting is located in a demonic cultivation sect. Will continue to read if it makes it through trial read.

It’s one of my favourite mtl novels to read at the moment.
It’s really fast paced amd differs from the normal cultivation development as the protagonist upgrades his cultivation realm regardless of what cost it might have.
He’s hot-blooded for he chooses to develop his passives in an active way, when he could simply ***** <— spoilers so I’m not going to add more to this statement.
He is most certaintly not someone who is good-hearted, instead, he’s selfish, cruel and reckless, although this might be just the result of how he was affected by what’s happening around him.
Overall, I think it’s a really good novel but there’s only around 270 chapters so I might change my opinion later on.
It’s my first review, so I’m sorry if I missed something you were looking out for.
If you have anything you want to ask me regarding this novel, leave a comment on this review and I’ll do my best to answer it.

translation quality is good, the premises is good but the concept of Tri gu sect rule is not gonna work. Even in demonic sect that kind of rule only make their demise faster (unless the sect leader have golden finger). I know the author wanted to use the concept of raising Gu in a pot as sect rule but it just not gonna work with human. Ok say that the higher up did not care about outer disciples at all, that inner disciples can send their people to plunder the sect resources like meat Gu food and than when the Quota is not reached the higher up will punish all the outer disciples(idk maybe kill them and take they Gu to eat or something) that is pure stupidity. Say that if they do that, than sect outer disciples will become less and inturn make the new inner disciple lesser, this will cause a gap in their sect generation compare to other a lil smart(not a lot just a lil bit smart) that have rule slightly good rule to prevent their sect  resources go to other place(I.e sell to outside market to fill some people pockets), the said Tri-Gu sect gonna suffer a great lost if their sect enter a war with other sect because of generations gap. That still did not count when they Sect fight with Gu nemesis(phoenix, fire type cultivator) as I remember the author keep saying this is dog eat dog kind of world, it will make more so for other sect to target Tri-Gu sect. That if, if the author care about logic at all. But if He(or she) did not, than... just ignore all my comments above☝

It does not have any logic to the rules created by this sect , it is totally bizarre how the author seriously thought that such organization would work in real life

Extremely bad writing and translation quality, borderline unreadable. This wn.com after all. Nobody comes here with expectations of quality. But its bad even after that.

This novel is full of blatant contradictions, repetitive passages of text, and an overabundance of unnecessary or redundant explanations. It is an absolutely dreadful novel nowhere near deserving of as high a score as it currently has.

1. Writing quality is bearable.
2. Story development is very forced. Every passive skills become useful with no setup in the next sentence. He would be peaceful for 3 months, gain a battle skill, and a conflict will arrise out of nowhere in the next sentence.
3. The MC is dumb. Sometimes having a dumb MC can be fun in a comedy. The problem is that this story tries to be dark. This makes the MC just frustrating. The only reason he can survive even a single day is that he got lucky and has a system. Worst of all, the MC is arrogant and thinks that he is smart while making the dumbest actions and statements.
4. Not sure about stability so I gave it a 3 as a middle value.
5. The background is terrible. The sect makes no sense and the rules the author introduces gets broken in the next. He does try to think of a "fresh" twist to a sect so I give 2 stars for effort.
The problem is that some archetypes are there for a reason. Sometimes that is just an inevitable outcome of logical progression. An example of this would be greedy and selfish people always being in power as the antagonist. This is inevitable when only those that are greefy and selfish can climb over others to gain the wealth and power they have.
Once you try to subvert expectations and break archetypes, it instead just breaks logic. So good attempt but poor execution.

Overall it was a poorly executed story with an interesting premise. I would not recommend.
