There are numerous other novels where the young protagonist attempts to alter the course of events, and in comparison to those, I found this one rather endearing. The protagonist, despite her innocence stemming from her age and circumstances, is likable and charming, with everyone around her adoring her. What captivates me the most is the playful banter between her family members - the dad, who loves his daughter deeply but struggles to express it effectively, and the grandfather, who cherishes his granddaughter but has difficulty showing his affection openly. It's a delightful dynamic that adds warmth to the story.
