Not particularly good. Not particularly had either. Not favorites material but it can be read to kill time. Word count count word count count.

I like food novels and I’m enjoying this one. The main character has a lot more personality, is less detached and more likeable than the leads of Gourmet Food Supplier and Gourmet of Another World. Good food descriptions and interesting world building. Overall, enjoyable and a good read.
