This novel... I... I actually wasted my time with it. I am not even going to complain about the characters because I can't be bothered... I will complain about how SLOW the story is moving at. I am 54 chapters in and I can only tell you a few memorable moments. These moments are why I gave it 3.5 stars. 1) He actually feels terrified when he killed someone for the first time, like a sane human. Sadly, they go and ****en ruin it by making the MC suddenly feel nothing. +0.5 stars2) The MC went to prison for a bit. Most MCs never go to prison ever in a magical realism novel, even though they murder and fight so many people... +1 starTo be dead honest, this novel would have gotten an easy 2 star from me if it weren't for these moments. This is one of those novels you read when you are insanely bored.

Apparently it's better then I thought it would be. Nothing to complain and story deserve nothing less then 5 stars.As author said it's a light hearted novel with an Evil hearted neighbor as control tower. this novel can really check your patience level if you are waiting for them to do it. Author's got an idea of the villian theme. It would also seem that he's quite adept with the no mercy kind not some who throw us off at the initial chapters. Keep up the good work

Two chapters out as of this reading.I can tell the author has a good sense of prose and narrative pacing. The technical side of this is good and has few errors. The reading is slightly inhibited by symbol use, but that is more an aspect of WN not providing basic tools like italics and bolding to new writers. That can be corrected in time.Overall, a decent start.
