Thank god ISSTH completed before this sh***y war between QI and ww , still i am reading novels from both sites, chinese authors are great creators of imaginative world. If QI going to monopolise all the chinese novels and then putting paypal for reading novels, then i have to stop this amazing journey in chinese novels because i cant afford it. But i hope this doesn't happen.....

It's a feel good story. Hope to have a continuation on this.

This is one of Tang Jia Sang Shao's worst work. The MC is such a cry baby and doesn't change after 300 chapters. The amount of cringey dialogues and repeated scenes/dialogue/cliche is also insane. How many times do you need to repeat that MC is not handsome? Author is such a hypocrite

Great settting and world bulding but terrible main character. He constantly offends everybody and additionaly molest women without thinking of consequences, yet somehow author claims that he is cautious and has extremely high IQ and EQ. Incostitency of his character made me really angry. I wouldn't mind some kind of evil, lustful villain who doesn't care about women and so on. But metanarration put him on the postion of good guy, author even use righteous to describe him sevral times. It's f*ckin ridiculous. People like that, who claim to be good and care for women but cheat on those whom they supposedly care and molest innocent girls aren't villains, they are pieces of sh*t. The worst thing about this book are the parts where author have audacity to shill main character perverted (12 y/o level perversion) and obnoxious or plainy stupid actions as rational and planned. Without plot armor thick as Mt. Tai, he would be dead hundreds of times and its quite literal statment. Weak people who offend all powerhouses in the world don't deserve long lifespan. After 400 hundred chapters is fair to compare it to hipothetical situation where Slovakia dare to offend and con Russia, USA, China, Japan and UK. And sleep with their daughers. But for some reason everyone loves Slovakia, because Slovakia is a genius with high IQ and EQ. Ridiculous.

I loved reading HJC on That Other Site, and I am happy that this novel isn't going to get somehow lost by the wayside with all the shenanigans that happen. However, these first chapters uploaded here (729-731) are really bugging me - almost to the point where I think this would be better off getting dropped.
Ringless Ground Purging Set??? This is one of the worst translations I could imagine. Hate-Ground-No-Handle is the translation on That Other Site, and not only does it make more sense, but it actually sounds cool. I won't go into the other irregularities, because they aren't as big of a deal, imo.
If you are retranslating a book from the beginning, then you deserve the chance to translate however you see fit. But when you are picking up where others left off, you owe it to everyone to maintain some degree of consistency - especially when it's choosing to be consistent with the best parts put forth by the prior translators.

*Disclaimer - I originally read this on WW, and i condemn qdi for what i assume is stealing it, but thats besides the point, i'm writing a review based on what i think of the novel itself.

Ok, this novel isn't great, but its quite a good read as well, the characters don't feel all that lifelike but its not too bad, its good enough to immerse yourself and loose track of time for a few days. Honestly apart from the issues it shares with most mediocre novels, the only big problem for me is the cringy asf gem-based power system which i hate imagining, ugh, it may not be such a problem for everyone else but everytime i hear alexandrite catseye it makes me want to drop this. The strory and world are above average id say, its an ok read imo, would't really reccomend it though

This is very good novel, the MC is so funny and smart, hes scroundel in a good way. His teachers is also funny, they r weak yet strong. Here the MC always make my mind blown and the elemeny also cultivation is unique which will not exist somewhere else, I really like this novel alot.
