The story is quite wholesome as you get to see the relationship between the MC, who wants revenge, and the ML, who wants to protect his country as well as his beloved, grow. If you guys like revenge or scheming and smart MC type of novel, then give this story a try. So far, this is one of my favorite novels (the journey might not always be sweet, but it is HE btw).
N: In any case, if the title sounds confusing, Copper Sparrow (also translated as Bronze Bird or Bronze Sparrow) is the name of a place, while the golden hairpin was referring to the mc in the story.
