The author is Chinese. I've read so many Chinese novels and most of them are bias to other countries and I can see that they really hate Japan (in novels they name Japan country R lol)
This was a great read seeing Selena grow from weak to kick arse heroine without being too over the top and Duncan her mate being caring and understanding
