What a weird ending, for a chinese novel anyways. The main character's idol brokethrough to the last stage and not him. And most weird of all was I can't remember one 'young master courts death' scene. Yes there were a few enemies, but they didn't try to kill him on the basis of the status their father gave them. So all in all I'm disappointed that we aren't shown if (well I don't think it's if but when) he makes the breakthrough and 2nd most important is that we aren't shown their marriage. But I think it's good as it is. Every other chinese novel I've read is about murderhobo mc's (unless they have a system and open a shop in a cultivation world?) so I'm happy that the author didn't go that route after 700 chapters. Oh yes and he's a nice and relatable mc, quite rare lol. Oh and also a troll to only reveal his nickname on the Longhu Club forum on the last chapter.
