One of the best cultivation novels I've ever read, at least top 5 of all time for sure. The characters are extremely well written. The Mc can be seen as the "rich young master" of the novel, but an extremely smart and charismatic one.The novel is well aware of the tropes inside it's genre, and plays really well within them. Every character has a personality of its own, and makes their own decisions based on their personality.Let's not even talk about the world building and cultivation realms, everything is well explained and has a reason, not just the same a to b increases qi by a billion fold. While reviewing this, I come to realize that this is probably top 3 of all time.

Another one. This is like those korean k dramas where the mc is a martial artist, gets a job and just can't fit in. There was a guy who was writing things about his uncle being in the army and how he had a bad time adapting. Well, this is going to be harsh, but your uncle probably isn't the same level of genius as the mc here. The mc is a genius only when the author wants it. I don't know if I offend someone but I think even if people are in the army they have common sense. I am not in the army but I can tell that it's not always training and people converse with each other too. If you have read some novels like beauty and the bodyguard you can find 60% things that are similar to that novel here. But keep going.

written by a braindead...translated by another...or maybe this is cz it's an mtl...then picked by a braindead...so basically all this is braindeadness to the max...characters are literal braindead and trash...one dimensional and no base...it's better to read children books...

Overall, a good story and plot.  As with the author, the background is very imaginative.  However, I still prefer MDZS over TGCF because the former is funnier particularly the conversation and has more intrique.   In terms of love, relationship and possibly poetic words (I think you need to know Chinese to appreciate the literary work), TGCF is deeper.  The little side details like the Er ming sabre and Ruyoue while silk interactions is cute.  My complaint is there should be at least a couple of chapters to give more insight into the other male lead, Hua Cheng like where he originates from and how he develops into a Supreme Ghost King.

Very unique premise and interesting MC. The author uses a generic murim world and inserts his own new idea into it, making it an interesting novel which is very enjoyable. I felt my expectations were exceeded several times and the story did not bore me. It is written well and I am curious to see how it will continue from here
