This is the prequel to The Guardian series & had me laughing & crying throughout!! I'm totally hooked on this series. If possible, read this book before The Broken Warrior's Daughter.   This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories in a more than satisfactory way.

I have to say one of the best of it's genre no actually it supercedes all others. ISSTH is more about the world and the experiences Meng Hao goes through rather than him reaching the absolute top like so many others do. So, if you are just looking for a story in which a MC becomes brokenly OP you will be disappointed that you are feeling intense  emotions instead. All of that being said this is literally just a cheep copy paste of 1610 chapters when there are 1614+3 (not including the blank chapter 1613+3) fully translated... If you are gonna copy paste something are ready finished and over with at least do it right. Everyone else has more or less said the rest about the issue.

One of the best, or at least in the top 3 properly written story with proper plot and cool interesting characters on this site.10/10 MC couple, that actually make sense no BS and proper progression, growth, and plot that flow and raises the story. The beginning is a little, slow, but as you continue on, it adds these amazing fights, and cool cultivation events and techniques. The world changes so much its becomes so interesting.Sadly we don't know why its stop updating, like MAM, and we can only pray it comes back. That said still worth the votes, and to read the current chapters.

I think you have a good start, I like the main character. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens to him. I’m also looking forward to the story picking up and to see how how many wives he ends up with.

It's fine. I hope someone writes a story with a similar concept, but in a fantasy world filled with magical elements. This is basically just a historical novel. The MC ended up in a certain period, he's a history buff, he knows what's going to happen next, and talks about it with the king and his subordinates. For example, traveling back to ancient Rome and talking with Caesar, fixing his mistakes. Obviously there's no Caesar nor Rome here, but that's essentially what the novel is. It's a cool premise but it doesn't suit my personal preference as its just normal humans with our normal politics. There's no real plot.

I pulled out the purple crystal, Arodis, as it was called, from my bag and looked at it for a split second before sliding it into my right pocket. I headed out to the gates where Uki-chan was waiting.

"Well, it is better for us to follow what he wants us to do! We don't need to think since his goal and we can only obey!" Wang Shuang could only give up trying to persuade his friend, but thinking about it again he would follow it if Yue Zhong really wants to create his own country.

She took a free computer by the strangest member of their team; Zachary Williams. Zach was by far the strangest person Jennifer had ever met, returning his little wave and smile as she sat down she had momentary flash backs of him on her first day of work, talking endlessly about photography while he dissected his burger, layer by layer with a knife and fork. Jennifer remembered watching in awed fascination as he drenched his burger buns in vinegar before commencing to eat it with a knife and fork. She'd always heard people at call centres were strange, but surely that was way too weird. To make it stranger was that Zach was actually devilishly attractive. He had the deepest set, innocent looking green eyes and a head of naturally curly black hair. He was like something out of a magazine; tall, broad-shouldered and with a contagious smile-- but by God, was he.. unusual.
