For instance, the Russian characters are depicted as cold and drunk on a military base, relying on firewood for warmth. Meanwhile, the virtuous Korean characters are portrayed as selfless and heroic, like the protagonist risking his life to save a child from flooding, while the 'bad' foreigners refuse to take responsibility. The Korean engineer leader, portrayed as authoritative, prioritizes his subordinates over personal safety, contrasting with the foreigners' perceived selfishness.

The narrative constantly emphasizes Korean superiority and foreigner incompetence, with the Korean leader even winning a赌博 game against foreigners through a cultural reference. The author's bias towards Koreans is evident, as they refer to a female character as a man's name, Nikita. In conclusion, the book heavily favors Koreans and demeans foreigners, which may not appeal to readers seeking balanced representation. The visually appealing cover caught my eye, prompting me to give it a chance since I had nothing else planned. Currently, I'm only on chapter 48, but I'm immensely glad I chose this masterpiece. Each chapter, starting from the second one, has been a delight for me personally. Although I prefer gradual introductions, perhaps that's why I've found it engaging.

The main character and his companions are intriguing, making their stories enjoyable to read, even during simple conversations. The characters' depth keeps me hooked, no matter the setting. If you share my struggle with quickly losing interest in novels, I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

Despite the novel's message about goodness, the racial stereotypes portrayed日本人(Japanese), 中国人(Chinese), and 俄国人(Russians) as one-dimensional villains, which didn't sit well with me. I'd prefer if these aspects were handled differently.

Despite the discrepancy, I decided to give it a chance, and boy, did I get hooked! I vividly remember reading over 200 chapters through my less-than-perfect comprehension skills, but the emotional rollercoaster was undeniable. I felt immense empathy for Moohyun; I just wanted to console him and urge him to escape from all the turmoil. He surely needed a break and professional help after everything he went through.

Unfortunately, I had to stop due to time constraints and piling up chapters, but I intend to revisit this story soon. One of my favorite lines from Moohyun, translated, goes like this:
