I'm not sure honestly I made my profile after reading stuff here for a long time. All I know is I saw someone mention that if you want to raise your karma you need to comment more and get interactions so I'm assuming likes and comments count towards it. It's just kind of cool I don't really care enough to take away from my reading time to look into it lol
