Dang, this is one of the novels that can make you awake at 3am reading it. I dare say its comparable to ORV and LOTM in terms of plot, characters, world-building, and pacing with its unique points which is being able to travel time. Its basically a teen-ager who got the ability to go to the future which is a fixed 1500 years by sleeping, to which he witnessed a whithered world with no humans. As for the present timeline they are compressed of living space by the domains (a core that descended) and domain monsters. Humans can only lived in cities and separated by the ever expanding domains. Humans are filled with hope that they will overcome the situation but through countless future probing the MC discovered that the extinction of humans may not be as simple as the domains taking the world.Plot armour, luck and such. While it is inevitable that every novel will have it. In particular to this one, it is not noticable and everything is going at the right pace. Which is why I said its comparable to ORV, and LOTM.The personality of the MC are roughly rational, stubborn with his belief or hope in this case, cold-blooded if its obstacle to his belief which is the survival of humanity, and yes he is a humanitarian (some might not like this trait especially when he is 17 young but its explained why he got that trait.)One of the rare Masterpiece chinese novels 10/10. (Tho I haven't finished reading so it might change)
