Sydney and Paige were best friends in high school. They played at Hopkins together, they were inseparable on the court and off. The two girls finally graduated high school, very bittersweet, they decided they must spend every second together before the summer ends and they have to go their separate ways for college. Paige's graduation party finally came around, also a going away party since she had planned to throw it in August right before she left for UConn. The night of the party something happened between the two best friends... Sydney pushed herself through the year at the University of Tennessee but she hated it. She decided to transfer to UConn for her sophomore year. Geno saw Sydneys talent and immediately gave her a spot on the team. Her first practice was rough, Paige was not being very nice to her.
