In no way does this story borrow any plot line from the world of LOTM. I’ve heard that the premise is similar to that of COI (LOTM Book 2), so I’m putting this out there to curb any confusion about that.I began to read LOTM to grasp the concept of eldritch horror and whatnot, same as I did for “The call of Cthulhu” and as I’m doing currently with bloodborne so as not to fail in my own story in that aspect. Therefore, if by some intervention of the divine beings any similarities are noticed, take note that it was purely coincidental, unless I intentionally reference LOTM world, which would probably be pretty glaring if that happens.
