It has been a loooooooong while since we‘ve actually had a quality book in trial read that isn’t just a copy of others. In other words, this is good and you should read it.

Before this novel was selected by an editor I honestly avoided it because of the reviews; I realize I do this with a lot of novels that have low reviews and I don't even bother to give them a try. Now that i've read it I found i quite like it. I think from today onward I won't bother reading or paying attention to opinionated reviews that praise or scold a novel simply on their  personal taste. I suggest others also just give a novel a try and form your own opinions yourself.

The translation quality and speed is fine but I feel like the pacing and story development is so infuriatingly bad that giving anything higher than one star would be unfair to anyone who starts reading the story. The author has officially been lost in a single 'climb the tower'  arc now for hundreds of chapters. The chapters are so long winded and filled with nonsense that it makes the filler in TMW and MW seem tame.  If you do feel a desire to read this story wait until it is over 500 chapters. Apparently the author gets his sh*t together by then.

to much non sense, this novel is realy cheap rip off of game descandent, he start to much trouble for himself out of nothing, when everthing can be solved by peacefull way. and this novel really lack of common sense, the just started yet he directly sell expensive equipment and skill before people di any mission. the author just to lazy to make what diffrence betwen game curency with world currency, 1 gold = 1$. like where silver and bronze coin?

Knee jerk review as of chapter 10. I'm all about the beginning few chapters of being high importance as that's what makes me keep reading. So spoilers are here but only up to chap 10.It's so far The Rising of the Shield Hero but edgier. Generic MC and backstory, the classic bullied by everyone, he's useless, powerless, etc, then gets crazy powers, and a system to boot. The writing can be repetitive and at times is so choppy it becomes tedious to read. World building is glossed over more or less as he "studied in the library" and knows most everything of importance.  Level scaling, explanation of magic, just a general sense of what is "strong" to be able to compare to isn't their either in my opinion. He also levels up insanely quickly as it seems killing single wolves while he's way above their level still garners him a fair amount of exp. Which is also never mentioned or shown, he just levels up instead. So the sense of progression isn't there and it begs the question why not just cheese it and power level off of weak beings. Why even need a slave? He says he needs a meat Shield but he seems to be doing fine on his own. Even going out gaining like 3 levels with ease just after he gets the slave and this is while  it's recovering. Overall it's pretty middle of the road, not really doing anything new or interesting. I may pick it up time to time to see if it gets better or maybe skip a few chapters ahead and deal with the lost information. Like I said the beginning is the most important to me as it sets all my expectations for the whole book and right now I'm just kinda "eh" ?u200d♂️ Also I have no idea about updating stability, so freebie 5 stars lol.

Short in action! Too much focus on side characters. This novel is for newbie only!

In two minutes the maid was back, looking white and not a little frightened. And Delbury knew, and he grinned silently to himself, that the maid had taken a peep at that card before she took it in.
