The story is full of holes, then he does not know the name of the weapon, after a few chapters it turns out that he is a super military man who went through hard training and can feel relaxed during interrogation. In general, the authors have problems with the personality of the protagonist.

I feel bad about this novel, because the characters are quite unique and their interactions mostly very well done.

My problem with this novel is the total lack of systematic world building.
On one hand there was enough time (6 months) for private/somewhat poor people to build their own Apocalypse shelters. On the other hand not even 1 month has passed and the MC thinks it is normal to kill each other for seeds, the government shelters have run out of basic/necessary tec products, medicine is supposedly already scarce and the police is missing basic survival equipment.

Do not ask why the police station is still up and running, when the whole earth is supposed to cool down into an ice-age. Or why a unknown gets access to the police chief when there are at least suspicions about him and there are government workers getting killed.

Also a solar storm big enough to change the color of the sun and atmosphere for prolonged amount of times would destroy every satellite in orbit and most electric equipment on the ground. Why the hell is the first part of this story centered around a satellite station? It makes no sense.

The upgrade system is also quite weird and inconsistent. Point distribution and timing seems random.

The thing about the MC is that he is supposedly a survival expert who is very active in the network, but he needs to buy food with points, has no seeds stored and there is not a single instance where he is actually doing something a survivalist would do, he just uses his points to solve everything.

Calling this an survival in the Apocalypse novel would be wrong, because the survival aspect is either glossed over or solved with point magic. There is no struggle, not even a hint of tension. Mc is basically just playing around outside in the "wasteland" and not actually doing any "surviving".

This has potential to be a interesting base building novel, something which we could always have more of on this site. Plus, even if this turns into dumpster fire so violent that even the heavens shake, it wont take any trial read spot. So this 5 star review is my hope for a good base building novel!

Another novel with idiot protagonist. Seems good at the beginning then started to lose their way and seems to me like a waste of time. But I am me, so beware.

The main chachters orgin is confusing he seems to know about everything and is a survival expert and gun expert and just about good at everything and this is a copy of doomsday bunker upgrade but is worse because it's more unnatural and feels stupid I would like if doomsday bunker upgrade had this guy's system because we dont know what the bunker he has is the space how he built it and how he built a 6 room bunker underground out of pure steel in a few months so the main problems with this novel are the mcs background which I read to chapter 15 and is still unknown and how fast paced it is it's just a bad copy of doomsday bunker upgrade which doomsday bunker upgrade isn't even that great so 2/10 novel

The story literally makes no sense. Everything the MC does also makes no sense. Somehow satellites still work after a massive solar flare strong enough to make the ambient air temperature burning hot. The MC has no survival instinct and walks into stuff randomly with no plans or caution. Things work out because he's the MC duh. Somehow other people can also survive in the burning air despite the MC needing magical system given alloy body armor to even go outside.

It's a hot mess with no real base building either. Points are given at convenient times whenever MC runs out of them. This batch is honestly a big oof.

I am not liking it. one the MC acts like he can survive anything when caught by law enforcers and blatantly tries to help them after thier mistreatment. I don't want him to oppose them but keeping his distance would be logical in such a situation. second he could have said he was the one who created the chip which would let him off the hook but he didn't even though he knew that Qin guy would have reported his name already.
