ALTERITY: A Divergent Soul - Reviews

The translator seems approachable, at least with the end notes for each chapter. The novel itself is machine translated, but the edits aren't too bad. It's legible, with only the occasional mistake in switched genders or strange terms. The storyline itself is interesting, and I look forward to how the MC develops. My only gripe is that the MC is very passive. Even when opportunity presents itself, he only takes action if it immediately impacts him.

This novel had a lot of potential when it started out. Unfortunately the author seems to have gotten bored early in and do the concept fell into random chapters of disconnected story arcs for no apparent reason. Left one with a feeling of the whole thing being extremely forced. Lacks proper planning and development needed to hold an audience.

A genuinely good read so far. Looks like the author's shooting for 1-2 chapters daily, which is a great pace. The writing is also great, it gives a lot of context without being an absolute info dump. Other than the slow start (Chapters 1-2, and a bit of 3), this story really does have good potential. Solid 9/10 for me, highly recommended.

Interesting. I 'm curious though, regarding the book into which Yun Xi is transmigrated, is it a book she wrote, which would explain, her having an intimate knowledge of the entire book, cover to cover as it  were. Or is it a book she read, one which she thoroughly enjoyed henced she would be familiar with the entire story? I take it sister mentality would that the lead male character views were dictated by his sister's opinion, is that right? I love the unique plot you of transmigrating into a book, good concept. You create a background leading to the transmigration giving it a touch of reality. I take it from observation that tales of transmigration form the background of Chinese folk lore. Anyway you have a great story, with a beautiful buildup. Keep writing author. I 'm hooting for you. Great job?.
