The beginning was quite engaging, but once the main characters got together, it started to feel a bit repetitive. The main lead (ML) seems a bit too childish for a supreme dragon god and demon lord with over a thousand years of power. However, if he has been isolated in his palace for centuries, it’s somewhat understandable. I really enjoyed his first appearance, but you don’t get to see that same awe-inspiring scene again for a long time.
His playful actions as a little dragon were cute at first, but they quickly became monotonous. He honestly just feels like a big teddy bear princess; I’m not sure if anyone’s into that, but I’m not. (And if you didn’t notice, the ML is the shou/bottom.)
The main character (MC) is fine; there’s not much to complain about. I appreciate his decisive attitude when the ML is in danger, and he comes across as quite mature.
What I liked most about this story was the initial sentence construction, but that wore off after a while. It’s a decent read, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to reread it.
