A dark Novel full of lunatics and psychopaths, where murder becomes the easy solution to problems, and sex is nothing more than a way to vent desires. Despite the book revolving around demons, it highlights the grim and cruel nature of the masses and touches on topics such as discrimination, class warfare, and necessary sacrifices. Yet, despite the dark story and the insanity hiding underneath the surface, readers can't help but want more as they follow the main character, Dantalion, in his various plots and schemes. There's something unique about trying to understand the insanity of the characters and the world they live in, only to eventually figure it out as the plan progresses. At the end, however, the answer is just as, dark, cruel and insane as the characters, only difference being that it eventually becomes understandable. If you have a tolerance for darker stories, you'll love this book filled with intrigue and plots. There's no overpowered cheats, just a character with too much knowledge, and not enough compassion. 9/10Sometimes, the characters ramble on too long about irrelevant topics (due to said insanity), and an unfinished novel is inherently unsatisfying.
