Despite its decent translation and comedic elements, the content becomes problematic when it negatively portrays Japan and uses Japanese characters as villains, while promoting one's own country. However, if we overlook that, it's decent enough to read for casual entertainment. The main issue lies in plot inconsistencies and difficulty in following the storyline. Overall, I'd give it two stars due to numerous plot holes and occasional confusion. It's passable as a time filler, though.

This novel holds significant relevance within the realm of xuanhuan literature, as it sets a benchmark for comparison by elevating the standards of the genre. The character development is commendable, and the translation is well-executed; however, the plot and power progression undermine its overall impact. It feels excessive to attribute his mastery of magic and alchemy solely due to his reincarnation. While it may be an indulgence, there are other works that excel in this aspect far more convincingly.

The premise is intriguing and skillfully written, with commendable translation. Liu Shunyi, the protagonist, comes across as likable among the array of characters, who exhibit a minimum level of distinct personalities - a rarity in many works. The pacing of the story is enjoyable and suitable for a leisurely reading experience, as it doesn't拖沓 with the character's cultivation journey and avoids making the protagonist a one-dimensional power-seeking vessel. Although the main character does possess significant strength, it's balanced enough not to overshadow the plot. At this stage, I am hopeful that this novel will continue to maintain a solid five-star rating from me.

The novel is indeed engaging, but it's important to note the lack of a "harem" element. Initially, I anticipated a story where the protagonist would gather multiple romantic interests, such as a semi-wife who they married by accident and a mysterious female friend. However, as I progressed through the first 170 chapters, the focus shifted entirely to the main character's adventures with his名义上的兄弟. They engage in action-packed encounters, often defeating and intimidating countless foes, all while maintaining an innocent facade.

While there isn't a traditional harem, the story has taken an unexpected turn into a humorous, action-packed journey. Despite my initial interest in the genre, I've found the brothers' escapades to be highly entertaining and captivating. There's no fan service, but the adventure storyline is compelling enough to keep me reading.
