The story has a lot of potential but there are so many grammatical errors that my teeth hurt. Half the time I am correcting the grammar in my head. I recommend getting a proofreader or using an app or site like Grammarly.
Why can't the Author proof read their story before putting it out for people to read. It's so irritating to make a sentence make sense for the story to flow. Couldn't make it through the first chapter to before dropping the story.
