Saitama just stared at Genkei admiring how the kid looked so... human. Now that Saitama was actually looking, Genkei's eyes were amber, not brown like his but, not quite hazel either. He had pale skin but compared to Genos's, the teen's seemed so full of life with the way his cheeks flushed with pink. His hair was the same color but, Genkei's seemed wavier rather than having it perfectly straight as Genos had. Genkei was so much smaller, more fragile. He wasn't made of stainless steel, couldn't stop a moving train, couldn't fight monsters. His fingers were slim and his face looked soft. Everything about Genkei was so alive. It was breathtaking and overwhelming. Saitama didn't know what was going to happen from this point on but, he knew he had to keep this boy safe. Because it meant keeping Genos safe. And Saitama wouldn't know how to deal with losing Genos.

You stepped back trembling, trying to understand what he just said. Tears automatically streamed down your cheeks and your heart completely shattered. He no longer loved you. You never complained about anything and he knew that. This was the first time you had ever complained to him about anything. The words "I hate you" rang in your ears like bells and you vision began to blur. You ran out of the music studio as fast as you could, sobbing and tripping up. You tried to keep going but in the end everything went black. The last thing you heard was silent screams of your name.

Normally UT updates at least twice a week and QCI updates at least once- it's been slow lately due to the author being brain dead (maybe Covid-19, I work health frontline)

I'll give this book a try, although I'm worried because I see this author has two other books still in its early stages, hoping it wont' slow down or halt the progression of this book, like I've seen with other authors. I want to read a great vampire story and I hope I found it with this author.

I had to comment on this. I read all the chapters in free access and... it was terrible! I mean, it really inspired some kind of horror in me looking at the concept of the groundhog from this point of view. It didn't help that the author described in detail the reactions of both the MC and the viewers to what was happening. Overall, an impressive novel. Special thanks for the Eastern flavor.

Was expecting to see more comments,  votes and collections. This book is severely underrated.
