The novel starts off quite well. The premise is quite interesting even though a bit cliche and the world is extremely interesting since it's set in modern times. The chinese myth elements are also quite cool and the characters are fine. There's just one little problem, after chapter like 300 the Chinese patriotism becomes a bit too annoying. Like always the chinese are number 1 of all time, the whole China has always been the center of the world thing. Also the west is obviously represent as hysterical beings who follow the Vatican. All in all it isn't a bad novel (especially the first 200 chapters) but after a while it starts leaving a bad taste in your mouh.

Its criminal that this book doesn’t have a full 5-star rating. This is an amazing book which brings you into its world and leaves you wanting more. If (like myself) all you’ve been consuming recently is power-fantyasy system novels this is the thing to restore your faith in webnovels and their ability to make you more than a system novel junkie. Also my favourite part is that the main character has secrets that even we, the readers dont know yet. Serious intrigue.

The book is pretty good but it's hard to understand some paragraphs. Like the other say it need more world building and character development. I feel that the book is written without proof reading it.the author just put what's in his mind without connection to the previuse paragraph. Basically the story event happen without explaination. It needs to be proof read and change some words that the westerner to understand.

what i enjoyed was the world creation and the events that are playing out to a certain point. The author has a nice writing style that is vey simple and clean. There is a lot of potential to the story. whever it goes, good luck author.

This book has potential but author is developing the story too fast and because I think that English is not author's first language so the chapters can be very confusing at some points. Aside from MC the other characters lack background.
