Boring. The main character is forgettable with no character traits apart from 'poor weak orphan'. The supporting characters are even worse. There are no hooks in this novel that make me want to read further an absolutely disappointing experience.

Amazing. This is a detailed setting full of death, grim, and suffering. It does not hesitate in being graphical or harsh. Set in a South America controlled by Cartels, this work offers what you love about Latin American contexts and stories. The main character feels highly rounded, and although he is literally nicknamed The Grim Reaper in Spanish, he is not a psycho, blood-thirsty machine without reason nor will. The leader of the Guerreros is a highly charismatic character that always leaves you wanting more of him. Highly recommended work. The grammar is flawless, the flow is consistent, and the scenery and action scenes are very well described. This goes to my library.

"He didn't 'decide' to start his restaurant anywhere. Nor does he 'decide' to remain here," I argue, "Falcone paid for Sam's move from Italy. Sam's in Falcone's debt. If he tried to establish an upscale business in the rich part of town, he'd be in trouble."
