I got tricked by the cover. I thought it's a cultivation story or something similar. Anyway, I read till chapter 117. In short: very boring. The start is skipped with no proper introduction on how the MC was and how he got a system or why, the story is all about mc goes somewhere, scan, find/dig treasure, and then sells it. This repeats infinitely. The whole theme here is the MC flexing on the viewers (face slapping). Extremely boring read.

The I only give the like for the translation quality and it update, however other than that- this novel is just Chinese propaganda, nationalism my ass, if this is nationalism, then it would make the Nazi and the KKK look like a cultural welcoming reception. I read novel with nationalism before, and it’s starting to becoming a trend now within this genre(magical realism) if the realism is the case then I’m starting to doubt Chinese youth culture as a whole.  It’s irony how the author attacked other Asians by calling them Monkey, but I don’t know if he understand that, to other people who aren’t Asian and racist, they’re all Monkey. It’s hypocritical really. I give 4 stars to translation quality and update stability, the rest can go to hell for all I care.                             ( only read this if you’re an overly nationalistic person and are Chinese, I’m sure it would make you feel good, just pitiful.)

Honestly. I'm just disappointed at this point. Why is it so hard to find a fantasy book that doesn't have much romance or Chinese propaganda... or both. 10/10 idea, 9/10 writing, but the irony of them blindly praising how good China's total military control is at containing virus's at the beginning of the book is so funny I cried. Like they were really praising total government control to the high heavens, as well as just throwing random stuff in about how China is better for like literally no reason. The amount of propaganda just increases the more you read, I just want to read every night to ease my social anxiety, not be indoctrinated to random ego-centric authors with Chinese propaganda.

Really good balance. Can use some improvement but is a great story otherwise! I wish it updated more however. The story is nerdy enough for me to follow and understand while not being super specific on detail work. It makes it very easy to imagine what is happening as you read.

Louise pressed the up button as employees walked by, greeting us with a smile  "Oops! I almost forgot, the coffee must be at my office, hot and fragrant, as soon as I'm back, okie." I winked and smiled at her. "Hey! I'm not your secretary—" the elevator doors opened as a tall man walked out and bumped into Louise. "Ouch! That hurt bastard—." "Oh! My bad,  Mrs. Zafra." Randolph caught her on his arms as she realized in horror. "Oh, Mr. Dela Cruz, I'm so sorry for ruining your suit." embarassed, she wiped off his collar and caressed his corporation badge. "Haha! No trouble, are you ok? I must have hurt you badly." He smiled and looked through her arms. "No, I'm fine and well, nothing to be worried about Mr. Dela Cruz." "That's good." Randolph looked at me "Oh there you are, I've been waiting for you, what's taking you so long?" "What do you want, Randolph? I'm very busy." I crossed my arms and lift an eyebrow. "Oh I'm sorry for the trouble but, there is someone that I want you to meet in my office."

That was to be expected, the mage closed his eyes and waited for the pain to come, however, nothing happened, or to be more exact, he did not feel anything hurting him at all. Was that an issue ? No, however, it might mean that nothing happened, that he was not healed, it would be troublesome.
