First he had to find a way to get food without putting himself in great danger, he guessed that he will have a vegetarian diet for a while since apparently, most animals he had seen were dangerous; second he has to built a better place to live, the stone structure is fine for now but it does not provide any protection against the elements or enemies that attack, and finally get stronger; he fell in a merciless place that does not give the slice chance of survival for faint of heart and cowards.
