It started to charge at them again, only this time they didn't have a big stone wall to stop it. Gaius planted a foot behind the butt of his spear and leveled it towards the charging beetle. "Don't do that! That spear doesn't have a crossguard!" Three took aim at its head, but had to wait for the charge to build back up to a level that would be lethal.
