Harold didn't give the creature any time to recover as he stretched both of his hands above his head with the palm facing the cloudy sky. A small fireball lit up above his hand as it got brighter and brighter until it turned completely blue. But the transition wasn't complete. He threw the fist-sized fireball toward the creature's head. Another tentacle shot from the back of the creature toward the fireball that was accelerating toward the creature. When it looked like the fireball and the tentacle would collide, suddenly the speed of the fireball doubled and directly hit the creature's glabella (the area between eyebrows). But the assault didn't end; the moment it made contact with the creature it started expanding until the creature was fully engulfed by the fire. The creature gave a shrill cry as it started thrashing around. Harold had to put up a spherical barrier around the creature, to stop the fire from spreading and burning down the surrounding trees.
