Winter and Xavier are so self-centered. They can't see what do people throw. Hot. I just wish somebody else would say or point out to them how it made her feel.

The story itself is insultingly formulaic. FL is passive, naive, and a doormat, so she enters situations with people she knows hate her and they do something to her. The male lead rescues her. Lather, rinse, repeat. I skipped from chapter 70 to 198 and missed NOTHING. The marriage is STILL a secret.

The FL is boring and 1 dimensional; she's essentially an entity present for things to happen to. She's there to get berated, drugged, slapped, schemed on, and rescued. The male lead is just as 1 dimensional: He's there to rescue and be intimidating. The only interesting chapters feature the villains

Has this book been updated in the last 4 months? I am not happy about paying for books that have been abandoned! This is ridiculous! The site should pull books that haven't been updated in a month. I am going to start deleting sites that let us pay for books that are abandoned!
