This story truly portrays what it means to have polygamy in ancient times and what a woman had to go through in a harem. This is truly a realistic story. If I didn't know any better, I would say this is a true story.
The FL is a transmigrator who is a fighter. I admire her steadfast and consistent peraonality. The ML also portrays a 3 dimensional character. He portrays how fickle men can be and I empathizes with him. He was truly a powerful man, worthy of his marquis status. I feel helpless for him too when it comes to handling his backyard (harem). Its not easy for men too, I guess. Still dont like him tho. I mean, he's a guy. I empathise more with women since Im a woman myself. Hehe
In short, dont expect sweet romance from this. This is a story how marriage is during ancient times. Its bloody and its a swirl of different emotions. For the women, its survival.
